This is a rather long list (not surprisingly really, for a country of nearly 300 million people) so it's roughly ordered alphabetically by state. Organisations covering broader areas are listed first. Anybody looking for local resources in the USA would do very well to have a look on Autism Link too. It's got an interactive map where you can click on a particular state and get a categorised list of resources in that area. It's a brilliant site.
